SEA KAYAKING ROUTES
This year we are trying something new by letting crews choose their route before arrival. In years past we have stayed within the Cape Lookout National Seashore area from Shackleford Banks to Ocracoke Island. This is the area that we prefer you to choose. It is more versatile in that camping is allowed anywhere on the string of islands and in that it is complete wilderness. There are historic structures but no permanent residents. The only access to the islands is by boat.
If you or your crew does not see a route that is appealing, or if they have no preference either way, we only need basic information in planning a trip for you. This is what we do best on a year round basis. Just from listening, we can plan a trip that meets your needs.

Also note that Coastlines are constantly changing. You will be notified if your trip has to be adjusted in any way.
The area from Bear Island to Fort Macon requires us to stay on private campsites and land. As a disclaimer we have to notify you of this in case there are any changes that would not allow us to stay or visit any marked locations.
